See what I did there (referring to the post's title)?
No? Knevermindletsmoveonplease.
I know my previous post was a little bit on the drama side and I could envision you rolled your eyes after reading it. It's just I was feeling a bit down at that moment. Plus, my emotions were heightened (read: PMS) so...
Anyway.
One paper left. Pray for us.
Oh, there were a bit of chaos these past few days regarding the overthrowing of Egypt's president, Dr. Morsi. Can't comment much about it since I honestly don't know much about it.
One is saying the West or the secularists are behind it, of wanting to remove Islam elements in Egypt's ruling. The other says it's because the people aren't satisfied with Dr. Morsi because there aren't much change after he became the president. IF it's because of the latter, I would love to shout to every single of the protester to frigging change themselves first. How would you expect change if you don't change yourselves first?
I guess what is making me totally sad (apart from the casualties) is the fact that they destroyed the Sidi Gaber train station. Once was a frequent train user, it has a special spot in my heart (leulz). The station was undergoing an upgrade and the last time I saw, it's quite beautiful. And to read the news (read: post on FB) that they (read: paid gangster) destroyed (I'm not sure how bad though) the station, which cost a lot, is kinda...heartbreaking.
On another aspect, I'm not sure what the people in Malaysia heard about the situation here till there are parents who are worried sick about the safety of their kids. Not my mum though. Mum is one cool person. During the riot last two years, I even had to ask her if she was worried about me even the slightest bit haha. (OK la maybe she was worried but she played cool about it)
Updated: Just read an FB post from a colleague saying there might be another assembly (can't think of a better term) by the pro-Morsi tomorrow, and yes, Egypt's condition is unpredictable at the moment. But don't worry friends and family, we are safe and sound here (God's willing) - especially if we just stay at home ^_^
Ah I think I spent almost an hour writing this (see, my writing skill is beyond rusty) .Today is my free day though so I am entitled to waste my time :D
Off to update my playlist (which has been left to rot in the draft section way to long).
See ya in the next post!
