I was just thinking about you.
Oh, really?
Yeap. I always think about you. It's embarrassing, actually.
So how much do you think about me?
My brain is a galaxy and you are the space that occupies it.
Basically you're saying that I'm just an empty space?
Smiling, she said, "You know what I meant."
Smiling, he replied, "I do."

Not Much Of A Short Story: Truth Or Dare
Truth or dare?
Truth.
What is your one secret that you'd rather die than telling other people?
Oh wow. That's a bit too much, don't you think?
That's the point of the game.
Well...there's this one thing...
Spill!
I...am...very much in love with you.
She looked at her lap.
OK. Ask me.
Still keeping her head down, she asked, truth or dare?
Barely hearing her, he replied, dare.
Umm...
And he kissed her with all his heart.
Truth.

Not Much Of A Short Story: Unspoken Words 2
I love you.
I smiled at her.
"Do you want to watch a movie later?" I asked.
"Yeah, sure." she shrugged nonchalantly.
"Hey, is everything OK?" Concerned, I inched closer.
"Yeah, I guess. Just tired" she took another sip from my Coke.
"You could just ordered, y'know." I took a bite from my burger.
She just smiled at me.
I've fallen head over heels for you.
I smiled at her.

Raving mad about you.

Just say it.
He smiled at me.

Say the words, silly!

Here's To Us
Here's to the endless texts that we won't send to each other anymore.
Here's to the midnight calls that we won't have anymore.
Here's to the private jokes and dirty secrets that we won't share anymore.
Here's to the strolls at the park that we won't take anymore.
Here's to the hugs and kisses that we won't steal anymore.
And more importantly,
here's to the end of me talking about you.
Here's to the end of us.

Not Much Of A Short Story: Sleep
She dreaded the time as it grew darker. The night was cold; from afar she could hear a dog letting out a lone cry, sending shivers down her spine.
The mansion was quiet, as if someone cast a sleeping spell to the dwellers. Then why am I still awake? Her eyes, bloodshot from lack of sleep, stung.
Oh how I wish to close my eyes right now and drift to the dreamland.
She turned and tossed in her bed. Ding dong. Ding dong. The clock chimed twice. As if on cue, suddenly a familiar image came to her mind. Excited, she dug into the back of the closet, trying to locate the long forgotten childhood favourite.
Marnie! With fondness, she grabbed the teddy bear. She fitted perfectly in the hug of her furry little friend, falling asleep instantly, just like when she was a baby.

Not Much Of A Short Story: Battle
Do it!
Her heart urging.
No, don't you dare!
Her mind was holding her back.
Unable to stand the endless screaming in her head, she pulled the trigger.
And everything was dead silence

Not Much Of A Short Story: Eye Contact
"Body language is very important when talking to someone to get your message across. Where you place your hands, your facial expressions, and eye contact." He stressed on, "especially eye contact," and looked at her, intently and deeply, while still continuing giving his talk to the room full of people.
Challenged, she fixed her gaze at him. For a minute there, she thought she could win the stare-off contest. But he gave her the tiniest, cheekiest smile, and it made her scarlet red. Realizing that she'd never stare at someone - let alone hold their gaze - like that, she ducked her head and bit her lip, trying to calm her pounding heart.
Little did she knew, underneath the cool facade, his heart was raging, wanting nothing other than kissing her. Right there, right now.

Not Much Of A Short Story: Intention
- hi
A text from him.
- where are you?
- home
She quickly replied.
- alone?
Disappointed, she decided to leave it unreplied, as she knew what's in his mind.
